SCERIN-5 workshop will be held June 20-23, in in Pecs, Hungary in coordination with a Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT).
TAT will take place June 16-20, 2017 (for TAT go to http://csebr.cz/scerin2017/tat.html).
SCERIN-5 CBW will include 25-30 presentations by approximately 30 presenters, including 3-4 US speakers and 6-8 local (Hungarian) presentations.
Key participants include: the FG leaders and teams working on the ‘30m GLC’ validation effort / peer-review papers; strong SCERIN regional representation (high interest from new Slovenian, Macedonian, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbian and other colleagues); high local Hungarian participation; NASA/LCC, GOFC/GOLD and SCERIN leadership. The local experts will address the EO activities and main research direction in remote sensing in Hungary. The workshop will include key note and programmatic lectures, expert panels, posters and speed-talk presentations, centered on the working meetings of the SCERIN FG and a number of informal net-working opportunities (field visit of select sites, coffee breaks, working lunch, no-host diners and lecture/icebreaker) for discussions and sharing of ideas and expertise among the participants.
